Scripture: Galatians 6:2
"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
Some things are simply too heavy to carry alone. God designed community so we wouldn’t have to. When burdens are shared, the weight becomes lighter.
Carrying someone else’s burden means paying attention. It looks like noticing when someone is struggling, showing up with compassion, and walking with them patiently.
In these times, God's love becomes real to them through our interaction with others.
Community isn’t just where burdens are shared. It’s often where healing begins.
God works through people like you and me who are willing to step in and help carry what others can’t handle on their own.
APPLICATION Today, stay attentive to the needs of the people around you. Offer support where you can, and receive it when you need it. Not one of us should have to carry everything alone.
PRAYER God, open my eyes to the people around me who are carrying heavy burdens. Give me compassion to notice, courage to step in, and patience to walk with them.
And when I’m the one who feels weak, help me receive the care You offer through others. Teach me to live connected, not alone.
In Jesus' name I pray~
Amen!
