January 10, 2025 | 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting
TODAY’S PRAYER POINT
Pray for opportunities to share your testimony authentically, and ask God for the right words to say.
BIBLE VERSE | Mark 5:19
“And He (Jesus) did not let him, but He *said to him, “Go home to your people and report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you.”
In this passage, we find a man who, after experiencing profound healing and mercy from Jesus, is eager to follow Him. However, Jesus has a different plan. (**To read the rest of this AMAZING testimony, check out Mark 5:1-20.)
He instructs the man to return home and share his story with those who know him best.
Sometimes, we may think that our story isn’t significant or that it won’t impact others. Yet, the man’s testimony went on to influence many others in his community.
This is a reminder that our personal experiences of God’s grace are powerful tools for evangelism.
Many can debate how Scripture passages can be interpreted, but no one can debate or deny the evidence of a life that has been changed by God’s love and salvation!
Sharing how God has worked in your life can inspire others, and gives them permission to believe and seek to know Him more.
APPLICATION
Take a moment to reflect on your own story.
What has God done in your life?
Who can you share that with this week?
