TODAY'S PRAYER POINT
Intercede [pray] for your Nation and its Leaders.
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE | 1 Timothy 2:1-2
"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way."
PRAYER Father God, today I lift up our leaders. Surround them with wise counselors. I pray that their hearts will be turned toward You, as they make decisions that affect many lives. I pray also for the people of my country, that they will turn their eyes, hearts, and minds toward the things of You. Holy Spirit, I pray for softened hearts of our leaders (in all areas of government, education, churches, etc.), and if they are not already following You, You will place them into Divine appointments with those who will lead them to the saving knowledge of Your grace, mercy, and salvation. Jesus, may our leaders be inspired by Your example of leadership. I ask that You instill in the hearts and minds of those who choose to follow You, a confidence and boldness to proclaim You as King in the public forum and in their private lives, as well.
