TODAY'S PRAYER POINT
Pray for the spiritual growth and maturity of believers in the local church.
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE | Colossians 2:6-7
"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving."
PRAYER Father God, fill me with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding in ways that will be pleasing to You. I want to be rooted in You so that I will bear good fruit in all the things that I do.
Holy Spirit, I need Your help every day to walk in a manner that will draw others closer to You. Help me to be on my guard so that I will not be influenced by the ways and words of immoral or unethical people.
Help me to speak words of LIFE and not death, speaking the truth in love, and above all, to build others up through encouragement as I 'see the gold' in them today.
Jesus, I claim Your promised blessing upon my life as I refuse to walk in the counsel of the wicked (Psalm 1:1). I praise You for Your divine power which has granted to me all things that pertain to life and godliness. And I thank You for Your faithfulness, Your mercy, and Your goodness.
In Your name I pray, Jesus~ Amen!
